7. The Flight is Booked

Hello Family and Friends!


I just wanted to update you all on what is going on during this time. I recently booked my flight to Guatemala for January 30th - that's only 6 weeks from this coming Monday!  I am not fully funded as of yet, but I don't doubt that God will provide what I need for the work that He has called me to do. Would you please continue to keep me in your prayers as the date approaches?

Like I mentioned, the departure date is coming up quickly (and the flight is for 6am which means driving to the airport at 1am/2am! - yikes lol). I just want to let you all know how much I appreciate your support and prayer! I feel God's evident presence in this time of transition, and I love you all for your involvement and support - from near and far!

Four Months Left!

Jesus said "I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you." John 13:15 Hello! It's July 2018! That's crazy because it means I have already been in Guatemala for a year and a half! I’ve been teaching English, discipling the girls in Bible classes, and building relationships with the girls and their families through both devotionals and home visits here in Santa María de Jesús.  I absolutely appreciate every way that you all help me and support me. As many of you might know I’ve been receiving about 76% of monthly support, some months I receive more and some less. When I haven’t received the full 100% support, I've thankfully had money in my savings to make ends meet. But now my savings are no more and I need to get to 100% funding.
